What was your first live music experience?

I was 4 years old, with an aluminum foil lit lightbulb in hand, dancing with my ballet class to the song "There’s No Business Like Show Business."

The quote I live my life by is…

"At some level we are all trying to find our way home to our true nature.”

If you could write one new law that everyone had to obey, what would that be?

Everyone to learn to meditate by the time they are 8 years old.

What is your favorite thing about the Chicago music scene?

Chicago audiences and musicians are very welcoming and open to new performers and styles.
What is your favorite GRAMMY moment?
a) When Beyonce was in an elaborate tableau of dancers and singers that looked like a still painting and then it came to life!
b) When Ricky Martin joyously made an entrance in a parade of musicians from the back of the auditorium.

What are your 2 favorite albums?

My apologies, I can’t possibly choose 2!
Desire -Dylan
Loveless - Bloody Valentine
Play and Play: B-Sides - Moby
Chet Baker & Strings and Chet Baker Sings
