A small handful of GRAMMY U students were invited to Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale to meet, greet, and discuss music with Tegan and Sara on a more personal level.

Students were ushered past a line of waiting fans into the venue, where they were introduced to Tegan and Sara. The SoundCheck opened up with the band playing three songs including the very popular "Alligator" from the album Sainthood and "100x" from their newly released album, Love You to Death.

The Q&A portion of the SoundCheck dug deep into questions about their songwriting process, life as a touring musician for almost 20 years, and advice on how to build your business team as an independent musician.

After the Q&A, Tegan and Sara came down from the stage and posed with GRAMMY U students, engaging one on one with the students. Overall, Tegan and Sara's support staff welcomed us and provided us with a supportive and fun environment, which resulted in a very successful SoundCheck.
