New York - GRAMMY U Meet The Board

GRAMMY U students: finish out your semester strong at Meet the Board! At this event, you will have the opportunity to hear from a series of moderated guest speakers, including an entertainment attorney, A&R executive, live event programmer, and indie artist.  These individuals are amongst the most distinguished professionals in the music industry today.

Neeta Ragoowansi is a renowned entertainment attorney and also serves as President of Women in Music. Rob Stevenson is Executive VP of Republic.  He has signed artists like James Bay, Of Monsters and Men, and Gotye, amongst others.  Erika Elliott is Executive Artistic Director of New York’s SummerStage Festival, which produces over 100 events yearly throughout the five boroughs.  Ben Allison is a renowned jazz bassist, composer, and band leader.  He has performed at venues of note around the world, including Carnegie Hall, and has released seven #1 jazz albums in the US.  All four speakers are members of the New York Chapter Board of The Recording Academy!

RSVPS are now open and we will reach capacity quickly. The first 30 students to respond will be notified with a confirmation of attendance.
