GRAMMY U And All Def Digital Present "Def Talk" With Chill Moody

Our “Def Talk” series continues with independent artist Chill Moody. Chill released his first independent album “RFM” (Running From Myself) in 2013, which debuted in the top 100 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart. The first video from his debut album was premiered on MTV Jams and debuted on MTV networks in nine other countries. He has performed at the Roots Picnic, headlined the "Questlove Stage" at the Wawa Welcome To America festival in Philadelphia and was named by Complex Magazine one of the top 10 up-and-coming artists in Philadelphia.

With many notable mentions, Chill gives us a closer look at what it is like to be an independent artist. "I think it's different nowadays because you are seeing independent success stories more now than ever before, I think artists are understanding that you might not have to sign to a major label."

Catch Chill Moody in concert on March 7th if you’re in the Philly area and follow him own Twitter and Instagram.
