The Recording Academy Memphis Chapter and the Producers & Engineers Wing presented a GRAMMY Pro Studio Summit at Esplanade Studios in New Orleans on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. The studio summit featured a Keynote Conversation with Beatles recording engineer and GRAMMY winner Geoff Emerick. GRAMMY winner Elliot Scheiner served as our Honorary Studio Summit Chair and offered opening remarks. The event was rounded out with panel discussions titled Demystifying Mastering presented Izotope and the Studio Magic of Allen Toussaint, which featured members of Mr. Toussaint's studio production team. The event ended with a crawfish boil/closing reception.
