On March 20 the New York Chapter, together with the Apollo Theater Education Program presented GRAMMY Pro® Songwriters Summit: Women Making Music. 

The program featured GRAMMY®-winning and nominated songwriters Kendra Foster (D’Angelo, Funkadelic, Armin Van Buuren), Emily King (Lupe Fiasco, José James, Taylor McFerrin) and Andrea Martin (Toni Braxton, Jennifer Hudson, Angie Stone). These amazing women shared their inspiration, creative process and writing experience with with such passion, honesty and humor. New York Chapter Governor and Director, Talent & Industry Relations for SiriusXM, Tracey Jordan served as our moderator for the evening.
