Meet our new Membership & Project Manager, Jordan Leonard!
Pacific Northwest Chapter
Get to know the newest member of the Pacific Northwest Chapter staff team, Membership & Project Manager Jordan Leonard.
Jordan Leonard has supported the growth of Seattle music communities since 2010. He brings experience in non-profits and music development and management as a former Program Manager at Seattle JazzED, and Workplace Consultant for the United Negro College Fund. Jordan has a trained ear from his background as an online radio curator-host of Black Roots Radio on Hollow Earth Radio and college radio director of Jazz at KSPC in Claremont, CA. Jordan has a B.A. in Africana Studies with a focus in Music History from Pitzer College.
Musically, Jordan has been playing a blend of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electronic, and Gospel music on saxophone in Seattle and Los Angeles, and is now branching out as a bassist. He enjoys playing and searching for music that infuses elements of his cultural past with innovation of the future.
Now with The Recording Academy, Jordan is excited to support and highlight the dynamic variety of music professionals here in the Pacific Northwest.
