GRAMMY-winning music producer Tony Maserati stopped into Philadelphia to discuss his expansive career and his tricks of the trade with members of The Recording Academy® Philadelphia Chapter and the Producers & Engineer’s Wing®.

This in-depth discussion was moderated by fellow GRAMMY winner and P&E Wing Co-Chair, Phil Nicolo. Maserati included demonstrations from his actual session files and played snippets of his work while discussing the thought process and technology behind cultivating each recording.

Maserati was candid, honest and full of great information for the audience of students, members, and notable producers and engineers like Ivan Barias, P&E Wing Co-Chair Ryan Schwabe and many more.

“The choices you make play a huge part in your success … When everyone went left, I decided to go right,” Maserati said Thursday night.

Immediately following, guests enjoyed a networking reception at Bliss Restaurant where Maserati stuck around to answer questions and take photos with the excited group.

Special thanks to Shure Inc., University of the Arts, and all that attended and made the night a great success.
