March 16 – Nashville – In The Mix: Listening Session

The Recording Academy Nashville Chapter Diversity Outreach Committee, in partnership with the Producer & Engineers Wing, hosted an In The Mix: Listening Session featuring local artists of varying genres and their respective co-collaborators discussing a single track/song.

Ben Blackwell of Third Man Records hosted for the second year in a row. R&B/Reggae artist Jemere Morgan and producer/engineer Jonny Grande, who met at last year's event, played a track from the album on which they collaborated. Selections were also shared by pop/R&B duo and Nashville Chapter P&E Wing Committee members Louis York (Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly); singer-songwriter Natalie Hemby with producer Mike Wrucke; folk-pop artist Jill Andrews with producer Will Sayles and mixing engineer Sean Moffitt; and country artist Electra Mustaine with co-writer Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. Each artist played an audio track and discussed its songwriting process, production, engineering and inspiration.

March 23 – St. Louis – P&E Wing Listening Session and Outreach Reception
